My first experience with improvised music was with the band Threo Fall with Odilon Reignard (Flute) and Julien Verney (Percussions).

This band was put together for a show based on the theme of water called Agua where High Sphere had been invited to play. Odilon, who organised the show, got the idea to put something together with me his friend Julien to complete the show. Our music ended up a blend of all our influences under a Jazzy form with long improvised parts. The ephemeral nature of this band made it very special since the piece we played was largely improvised and only aimed at being played once. That night, we were backed up by a mighty 30 people choir dispersed throughout the theatre, the kind of things that gives you goose skin when they started singing. Overall, this was an incredible experience although I feel that my musical skills at the time did not allow me to express myself as much as I would have wanted. Still, I am very grateful to Odilon and Julien for their patience, support and for all that they taught me.
