Video report: Guillaume Erard Seminar in Paris

As I begin the last part of my seminar series for the summer of 2018, a video is already available to those who would want to get an impression of my first Parisian seminar this year held at the Picpus Gymnasium on June 24th.

The course was organized by Odilon Regnard (4th Dan Aikikai), with the support of La Camillienne where he teaches professionally through the year. The videographer is none other than Wilfrid Poma, a practitioner and Parisian artist who has recently added videography to his set of skills, in spit eof it being already well furnished. Wil's YouTube channel is slowly becoming one of the main sources of news about Aikido news in Paris, with beautiful videos on the activities of well known teachers such as Pascal Durchon, Mare Seye, Pascal Guillemin, or Fabrice Croizé.

Wil has been a regular attendee of my seminars for a few years already and the trust that got established between us following our interactions on the tatami and discussions via Email has made me feel very comfortable despite the presence of the merciless eye of the camera. Wil wanted to finalize the editing of this video in order to be able to release it before my second Parisian workshop that was to be held at Christian Tissier's dojo in Vincennes two weeks later, and not only did he manage to keep his schedule, but he was able to produce a high quality video that perfectly reflects the atmosphere of the course. What's more, some of his staging and editing choices will no doubt be a source of inspiration for my own future productions.

I would like to thank Odilon and Wil for the support they have provided to my activities for several years, as well as all the participants who make the effort to come to my seminars.
